Emerging from their mutual admiration and respect for their respective creative universes, Desigual and Mr. Lacroix have decided to work together to create some special garments that will be combined for the first time in this dream… collection.

“It’s about joining our hearts, minds and creativity in a single project. This first encounter will reveal all the good things we can achieve together. We love the whole idea, even before starting it”, in the words of Desigual’s creative team.

Monsieur Lacroix loves Desigual
Monsieur Lacroix and Desigual are getting to know each other. The aim: a breath of fresh air for the brand, Lacroix-style clothes within the Desigual’s Universe. It is all about uniting creativities; brains and hearts working together. But as in any relationship, there is always a beginning. And the beginning was love at first sight. Now Desigual and Monsieur Lacroix have fallen in love. They are getting to know each other, little by little, they are discovering each other, they’re getting intimate. That’s why clothes designed for autumn winter 2011 are just a first encounter between both universes, with so many common points, yet so many differences. It is in the spring-summer season 2012 that this love story will have matured and will bear its fruit: more clothes and accessories.

Monsieur Lacroix said about Desigual: “I was awestruck by the first girl dressed by desigual that I saw in Paris. As I watched her, I could recognise in her a member of my own tribe. It was an explosion of colors and patchwork under the elegant, discreet and always monotonous French sky. It was fantastic, truly love at first sight, a breath of fresh air, all multicoloured, scorching, revitalizing, radiating Mediterranean colours and flavours and creeping into this global and colourless magma inhabited by zombies and clones.”

Energie pays a tribute to Italian “Tricolore” with an original, old style sneaker, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Italian Independence.

Following its original clash style, always between urban and denim, Energie completely reshape the Italian Flag playing with the three different colours of our history, using for all of them different materials and manufacturing.

The details are really original, like the green lace in contrast with all the white ones, or the “Used Effect” rubber sole, to show the long walk of our country from independence until now.

With its always unique style, Energie wants to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Italy Independence.
